First T-shirt design
This is the first t-shirt design of a new, fun collection I am developing. The name of the line is still under construction. What do you think?

Too Fat to Fly?
Actor and director, Kevin Smith, was deemed too fat to fly by Southwest Airlines last week. Then I ran across this picture that made the news taken by an airline stewardess.
Seems every month or so, I hear reports of passengers being rejected from airplanes because their tush would take up more than one seat on the airplane. Is this the coming trend? According to health.com, one out of every three American adults is obese, and two out of every three are overweight. Trust for American Health reports that adult obesity rates now exceed 25 percent in 31 states and exceed 20 percent in 49 states and Washington, D.C. There is no doubt we love to eat. Unfortunately, I see the very possibility of it becoming harder and harder for us to find an airline seat that can accommodate an oversized populace. In the future we may have to look to old fashion American entrepreneurial spirit to meet this challenge, and really cater to the needs and wants of these good paying, oversized air passengers...

The Tiger Woods news conference
How many times have we seen this? Kolbe Bryant, Eliot Spitzer, Mark Sanford. The list could go on forever. One thing that I am sure you will not see... Tiger’s wife.

Global Warming
The frigid temperatures in most of the country over the past few years made me recall the famous Global Cooling article from Newsweek in April of 1975. You had zealots back then swearing we were all going to freeze to death. Now, you have all the global warming folks who believe we are about to fry if you don't get out of your car and ride a horse...as long as that horse doesn't break wind. You see, both breaking wind and simply breathing out can supposedly cause global warming. Who knows where all this is going, but I do know this... The earth has cooled and warmed from the beginning of time. The ice ages have come and gone without much help from the SUV. It is a cycle of change that will go on long after we are gone. If I had to make a choice, I would choose Global warming over Global cooling. If another ice age is coming, we are toast. Not much grows in ice.

Super Bowl Sunday
Well, it has been a long six years since the debacle in Super Bowl XXXVIII at Reliant Stadium in Houston. Thank you Janet and Justin for scaring a whole generation of guys who now eagerly watch the half-time show, instead of going to the bathroom, in hopes of seeing some sort of wardrobe malfunction.

The iPad
The iPad.
What's in a name? I guess only a brilliant soothsayer can make that call. I would be curious to know if any thoughts of feminine protection came up in the focus group meetings at Apple. I think the iPad is going to be a real interesting study in product branding for many reasons.
