The frigid temperatures in most of the country over the past few years made me recall the famous Global Cooling article from Newsweek in April of 1975. You had zealots back then swearing we were all going to freeze to death. Now, you have all the global warming folks who believe we are about to fry if you don't get out of your car and ride a horse...as long as that horse doesn't break wind. You see, both breaking wind and simply breathing out can supposedly cause global warming. Who knows where all this is going, but I do know this... The earth has cooled and warmed from the beginning of time. The ice ages have come and gone without much help from the SUV. It is a cycle of change that will go on long after we are gone. If I had to make a choice, I would choose Global warming over Global cooling. If another ice age is coming, we are toast. Not much grows in ice.

yeah let's not look into actual data that shows temperatures around the globe are slowly but steadily going up year by year and have done for decades and instead take some current anomaly and base our worldview on that, and that alone.
